He’s a teenager!!! 😱 A year ago everything was changing. His school had just shut down. We couldn’t see anyone. Oh yeah.....and an earthquake. Today he’s 13 and I’m so proud of all the things he’s handled in stride this past year — including starting jr high in the middle of a pandemic!! So proud of my Riley and love him so so much!!

Using a task analysis is a great strategy to use when thinking about how to teach your young child a new skill.

It allows us to break down the big skill into smaller skills that we can teach over time.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
A task analysis can be used for skills such as washing hands, getting dressed, using a sign, eating with a spoon, etc. Such a huge variety!!
