          I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Education, in 1974.  I taught special education classes for 29 years in Texas public schools.  The last 18 years were in a special education self-contained class.  Every child that entered my door was unique with their particular needs.  I began to see an increase in students with autism.  My search for programs to assist them brought me to Relationship Development Intervention® .  I was drawn to RDI®  because parents saw results.  Their family life became normalized.  So, I began my journey to become a certified program consultant for RDI®.  I became certified in February of 2010.
